Vagaro, Mindbody, GlossGenius and PushPress run your calendar and checkout, but they aren't a general ledger. Greenback is: payouts tied out to your sales, memberships billed on schedule, suite rent collected, retail inventory costed and every location on its own P&L.
The live sample is a real Greenback business. Nothing you change is saved.

Your processor deposits a net number: sales minus fees and refunds, plus or minus tips. Payouts shows what the processor took, what it paid over, and whether it adds up. A payout that doesn't is held for you, not forced to balance.
Recurring invoice templates raise membership and package invoices on schedule, monthly or any cadence. Pause a member without losing their history, and use credit memos for refunds and goodwill credits.
Run your suites and chairs like rental units: a lease for each renter with term and due day, rent invoices raised on schedule, late fees with your grace period and cap, and renewals before anyone's term runs out.
Card tips aren't your revenue, they belong to your team. Hold them in a tips payable account until they're paid out, and record commission by provider so your P&L isn't inflated. Payroll connections are on the way.
Track the product you sell with quantity on hand, FIFO unit cost and reorder points. Its cost moves to cost of goods sold when it sells, so your retail margins are real, and your service menu lives in Products & services.
Set up each studio, salon or gym as its own department and tag any line to it. Run a P&L for one location or all of them, keep a consistent chart of accounts, and email your P&L to partners or a franchisor on a schedule.
Reconcile, review, report, lock. Greenback walks you through the close every month, generates a close packet and locks the period, so reports are ready on time for you, your lender or your accountant.
Cash, receivables, payables and net income, plus how each location did, whether payouts tie out and what needs you today.

QuickBooks Online pricing reflects Intuit's August 2026 list-price increase as reported; Xero and FreshBooks pricing from third-party comparison sites, August to October 2026. Greenback pricing is per month, billed in US dollars. Prices change often and vary by billing term and add-ons, so check each vendor's site for current rates. QuickBooks, Xero and FreshBooks are trademarks of their owners.
No. Keep the booking app your clients know. Greenback is the books underneath it: record your sales, tie out the payouts, and close the month. Direct point-of-sale connections are coming soon.
Yes. Track your income, product and rent, snap receipts, and keep real books without hiring a bookkeeper.
Yes. Med spas, day spas, barbershops, nail and lash studios, gyms, boutique fitness and yoga studios all use the same building blocks: services, memberships, retail, suite rent and staff pay.

Yes. Greenback imports your chart of accounts, contacts and transactions from QuickBooks Online or Xero, so you don't start from zero. Then invite your accountant and pick up where you left off.
All three are general-purpose: you bolt on add-ons, apps or spreadsheets to handle the parts that are specific to your industry. Greenback is real double-entry accounting with those parts built in, and you can import your chart of accounts, contacts and transactions from QuickBooks Online or Xero. Greenback Business is $20 a month, plus the module for your industry.
Tell us your booking app and how many locations you run. Greenback Business is $20 a month, and the Personal Care & Wellness module adds $5 a month. We'll set up your chart of accounts with you.
